MailSurgeon's Privacy Policy (last Revision: Oct 7th, 2017)

MailSurgeon (“Company” or “we”) respect the privacy of MailSurgeon users (“User” or “you”) and are committed to protect the User's information. We believe that you have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect and use when you visit the MailSurgeon website and use the MailSurgeon Application, as such term is defined in the Terms of use at /site/terms (hereinafter, “MailSurgeon”).


By accessing and/or using MailSurgeon, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy, including to the collection and processing of your Personal Information (as defined below). If you disagree to any term provided herein, you may not use MailSurgeon.


We collect information while you access or use MailSurgeon. In other words, when you access or use the MailSurgeon Application we are aware of your usage of MailSurgeon, and may gather, collect and record the information relating to such usage. For example, when you connect to MailSurgeon, your computer tells us your IP address. We may further log the content you generate during your use of MailSurgeon.

2.1 Registration and Profile Information.

When you create an account, we may collect your personal information such as your username, first and last name, email address, a photo and any other information you entered while creating your account.

2.2 Data collected through use of the Service.

After you set up your account, we may ask or you might provide us other profile and demographic information, such as age, gender, info about your studio gear and more.

2.3 Activity on site.

We may also collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit, your use of third party applications, information regarding your activity on MailSurgeon, and other information that assists us in analyzing and improving the Service. Although we do our best to honor the privacy preferences of our Users, we are not able to respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser at this time.


Information is collected in order to enhance the User's experience on MailSurgeon. And also to learn about the preferences of users and general trends on MailSurgeon (e.g. understand which features are more popular than others).

Information is also collected in order to:

  • Provide you with the services on MailSurgeon.
  • Analyzing and improving the Service.
  • Personalize your experience on MailSurgeon.
  • Enable the overall operation of MailSurgeon.
  • Personalize your experience on MailSurgeon.
  • Enhance other MailSurgeon Users experiences on MailSurgeon (as specified on Section 4).
  • Provide you with certain information and services available only to Registered Users.
  • Allow us to contact you with proposals and tailored information regarding events, offers, services, etc.
  • Identify you when conducting customer service operations (such as providing feedback, etc.).


Some of your MailSurgeon Personal information will be visible publicly or will be visible to other MailSurgeon users: your name, your country, your profile picture, your MailSurgeon ranking and MailSurgeon achievement, and your activity on MailSurgeon (Including but not restricted to workout completion, personal records, days on the platform and more). Other data, images or music that you will upload, provide or post might be available publicly (That means that anyone can watch or listen to it). Your profile page might also be available publicly.


We will share Personal Information only in the following cases: (a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request; (b) to enforce these Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use governing the use of MailSurgeon, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to respond to claims that any content published on MailSurgeon violates any right of a third-party, including copyright and/or privacy right; (e) to respond to claims that unauthorized information (e.g. phone number, name, photo, etc.) of a third-party has been posted on MailSurgeon; (f) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the Company, its Users or the general public; (g) when Company is undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of the assets of Company; (h) pursuant to your approval, in order to supply certain services you have requested from Company (i) to let our partners and affiliates serve you with commercials; (j) to collect, hold and manage your Personal Information through a third party's cloud based services, as reasonable for business purposes, which may be located in countries outside of my jurisdiction, including but not limited to the United States of America. (k) to use third-party analytics tools that can help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service.


If you have registered to MailSurgeon directly, you may request us to delete any of your Personal Information from your account on MailSurgeon, for any reason you may have, by sending us an email to [email protected], and we will make reasonable efforts to delete any such information pursuant to any applicable privacy laws.

If you connected to MailSurgeon for the first time through your active Facebook profile, then you will not be able to delete your Personal Information directly from MailSurgeon. This is because you originally inserted such Personal Information to your profile on Facebook. To delete this Information, you will be required to edit your Facebook profile accordingly. Such deletion of Personal Information on your Facebook profile will be reflected on your account on MailSurgeon thereafter.


When you visit MailSurgeon, Company may use industry-wide technologies such as "cookies" (or similar technologies), which stores certain information on your computer ("Local Storage") and which will allow us to enable automatic activation of certain features, and make your MailSurgeon experience much more convenient and effortless. The cookies used by MailSurgeon are created per session, does not include any information about you, other than your session key and are removed as your session ends (usually after 24 hours). It is easy to prohibit the Local Storage. Most browsers will allow you to erase cookies from your computer's hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. However, if you block or erase cookies, your online experience may be limited.

We also use certain third-party cookies. These are a different kind of cookies, stored on your computer by third parties, rather than by the Company. This kind of cookie is only read (and not altered by MailSurgeon) each time you visit MailSurgeon, and also when you visit certain websites or applications that uses similar cookies. Third-party cookies usually store only a Non-personal Information, such as the web pages you have visited, the duration of your browsing, etc.


We take a great care in maintaining the security of MailSurgeon and your information and in preventing unauthorized access to it through industry standard technologies and internal procedures. However, we do not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.


While using MailSurgeon you may encounter links to third party websites. Please be advised that such third party websites are independent from MailSurgeon, and we assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever with regard to privacy matters or any other legal matter with respect to such third party websites. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policies and the terms of use or service of such websites.


The terms of this Privacy Policy will govern the use of MailSurgeon and any information collected therein. Company reserves the right to change this policy at any time, so please re-visit this page frequently. In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on MailSurgeon.

Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective as of the stated "Last Revised" and your continued use of MailSurgeon on or the Last Revised date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes.
